Software beta launches
Apple is expected to launch other software betas including watchOS 11.2, tvOS 18.2, visionOS 2.2, and more, followed by the release of the first betas of OS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2 with exceptional Apple Intelligence features.
tvOS 18.2 is said to introduce previously promised features by Apple to debut in Apple TV by the end of this year, including support for ultra-wide 21:9 projectors, screensavers for other Apple TV+ content, and more.
Moreover, VisionOS 2.2 is likely to roll out an ultra-wide variant of the Mac Virtual Display feature on the Vision Pro headset. Once it is rolled out, Mac Virtual Display will be available in different sizes such as Normal, Wide, and Ultrawide. The overall feature launches as part of the visionOS1, letting the Vision Pro be utilised as an external display for a Mac.
Apple Intelligence might be introduced to older Apple devices
The Cupertino-based tech giant is expected to expand the availability of the iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2 betas to previous models of iPhones and iPads that haven't received the recent update of Apple Intelligence now with a later beta variant.
Hardware updates
Coming to the hardware updates, Apple’s recently launched iMac, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro models with flagship M4 series chips will be released in stores on November 8. The Vision Pro will be released to South Korea and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on November 15, nine months ahead of its launch in the United States (US).
Final Cut Pro update
Apple teased the Final Cut Pro update earlier this year, which is likely to be available this month. According to Apple, the Final Cut Pro will receive spatial video editing support on Mac, built-in caption generation for videos, and more which is expected to be launched on November 13, the first day of the annual Final Cut Pro Creative Summit.
