What to expect from latest iPad models

iPad (11th generation)

iPad (10th generation) came with a new flat-sided design. It was switched to USB-C, added landscape stereo speakers, and was the first iPad to have a landscape selfie camera.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is “focusing on how to make its production costs lower on the entry-level model.” Therefore, there is a chance we might see a price reduction in the upcoming model.

The iPad (10th generation) has an A14 Bionic chip. Although it isn't clear Apple is expected to put an A17 or A18 chip in the new iPad 11.

iPad mini (7th generation)

The iPad mini lacks some features such as a landscape front-facing camera, and support for Apple Pencil Pro. However, now with the 7th generation iPad, we might see both of these features.

iPad mini might also jump to the latest generation A18 chipset, which will bring Apple Intelligence features to Apple’s smallest iPad. This means users will likely be able to utilise the new Siri, Genmoji, Image Playground, and more on yours.

The iPad mini 7 is likely to have 128GB of storage, similar to the new iPad Air and will be available at the same $499 starting price as the current model.

Stage Manager

Apple introduced “Stage Manager,” a new Windows system in iPadOS 16 that required an M1 chip. However, we’ve yet to see this feature expand to any other A-series iPads since 2022 and there is a chance Apple might add this feature to the new iPads.
