The full moon's zodiac sign is defined by its location in the night sky about other astrological signs. The moon shifts each year, resulting in distinct features around it.
This year, Flower Moon is a full moon in Sagittarius, a fire sign and the ninth on the wheel, and it is on the same Axis as Gemini, an air sign, making the two comparable in modality and themes.

Thomas stated that because Sagittarius is a Fire sign, using fire in people’s rituals might be very effective. Using candles, incense, or sage smoke for manifestation, for example, may be highly effective.
"Writing down things you'd like to release from people's life or spirit on paper and then burning them can be a cathartic way of working with the energy," said Thomas.
