WhatsApp, the popular messaging app, has just received a major design update that exerts a new look, a deeper dark mode, and several user-friendly features to enhance messaging experience on the app.
With a new look, the update brings a native bottom navigation bar on Android, and a deep dark mode to reduce eye strain. The app's colour palette has been refreshed with 35 options before choosing a new design tone.

iPhone users will enjoy an upgraded layout for media sharing, with an expandable smooth navigation feature. Additionally, WhatsApp has updated its icons and illustrations, giving them a more rounded, sketchy style while introducing a new default background that resonates with everyday conversations.
The update also includes several user-friendly features, such as group chats and filters to help manage unread messages, making communication more efficient. Although a launch date has not been announced yet, WhatsApp has hinted that an updates with these changes is coming soon.
