WhatsApp is reportedly on the verge of revealing an innovative AI-driven image editing tool into its platform. 

According to WABetaInfo — a portal that exclusively covers developments around WhatsApp — the popular messaging app is in the process of rolling out an AI-powered image editing feature, aiming to simplify photo editing for users. 

The tool offers an array of editing options, including background alteration, style refinement, and image dimension expansion.

The recently surfaced insights offered a sneak peek into the initial iteration of the feature's image-sending interface on WhatsApp for Android.

In addition to this exciting development, WhatsApp is also set to introduce Ask Meta integration within the app. With version, users can directly query Meta AI through the search bar.

This reflects the growing trend of AI integration across various platforms to enhance user experience. As reports suggest, WhatsApp's forthcoming AI-driven image editing feature is poised to revolutionise photo enhancement, granting users the ability to tweak backgrounds, restyle elements, and expand image sizes through artificial intelligence.

These features are currently in the development phase and are not yet available even in the latest app version. It will be undergoing refinement and will initially be accessible to testers on the Beta version of the app before a wider release to all the users.
