WhatsApp is currently preparing to launch animated confetti reactions for New Year's celebrations this year, set to be released in an upcoming update. This festive-themed emoji feature is designed to enhance the celebratory atmosphere.

The animations will be paired with the Party Popper, Partying Face, and Confetti Ball emojis, offering dynamic effects that capture the lively spirit of New Year festivities and can be used alongside cheerful messages, according to WABetaInfo.
