Elon Musk's xAI, an America-based startup on artificial intelligence (AI), on Friday began rolling out an upgraded version of its flagship Grok 2 chatbot model to all X (formerly Twitter) users.

Despite being caught up in a lawsuit with OpenAI, xAI is pushing forward with new product releases.

According to the company, the enhanced Grok model is three times faster and offers improved accuracy, instruction obedience, and multilingual capabilities.

Notably, free users will be limited to asking Grok only ten questions every two hours. However, X's Premium and Premium+ plan subscribers will have higher usage limits.

Additionally, xAI has introduced a "Grok button" on X, which is designed to help users discover relevant context, understand real-time events, and dive deeper into trending discussions.

Moreover, the AI startup is also making various changes to its enterprise API. The API will feature two new Grok models with improved efficiency and enhanced performance, resulting in reduced pricing.

The models’ cost will decrease from $5 per million input tokens to $2 per million input tokens, and from $15 per million output tokens to $10 per million output tokens.

Furthermore, X also introduced Aurora, a new image generator for Grok that produces images with few restrictions but they're more realistic.
