Recently, X (formerly known as Twitter) has been making efforts to refine its platform and stay competitive. As a result, the platform has now introduced a new feature that allows users to sort replies on their posts.
The feature aims to improve how users engage with conversations on the social media platform and allow users to sort replies into three categories such as “most relevant,” “most recent,” and “most liked” posts.
X has been working on this feature for some time to make it available for all users, however, previously it was available for X Premium users and those having blue-checkmark accounts.

The feature is implemented within the reply section of posts on the platform providing users with more control over how they view and interact with replies.
This makes it easier for users to follow discussions that are most relevant to them instead of seeing spam and irrelevant content in replies posted by blue checkmark accounts for the sake of view and engagement. Meanwhile, the “most relevant” option is still likely to be based on whoever pays the most for X.
However, the setting users choose for reply sorting doesn’t get saved, meaning that users have to select their preferred option every time they view a new post.
Since Tesla CEO Elon Musk acquired Twitter in 2022, X provides blue checks to anyone who pays $8 per month as a subscription fee for X Premium.
The feature has been rolled out and therefore, is available for all X users worldwide.
