Xiaomi 14 microsite goes live: Amazon, Flipkart availability confirmed ahead of March 7 launch

Xiaomi 14 is set to launch in India on March 7. The company is also set for the global introduction of the Xiaomi 14 series during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona. 

The Indian variant of the vanilla Xiaomi 14 is expected to mirror its Chinese counterpart revealed in October 2023. Xiaomi India's website has provided teasers of the phone's colour options and key features. Live microsites and leaked banners have also hinted at the handset's availability in the country.

According to Gadgets360, the Amazon microsite for the Xiaomi 14 confirms its availability on Amazon India. Reports suggest that the phone will also be offered through Flipkart, although the banner was not found on the e-commerce site.

The landing page on Xiaomi India's website and the Amazon microsite has unveiled key features of the Xiaomi 14 ahead of its Indian launch. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and will run on Android 14-based HyperOS. Notably, the Xiaomi 14, along with the Xiaomi 14 Pro in China, was among the first smartphones to feature the new user interface out-of-the-box.

The Xiaomi 14 will sport a 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It will have an IP68 rating for dust and splash resistance and support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos with stereo speakers.

The phone will be available in black, green, and white shades with smooth, glossy finishes. Additionally, it will support 90W wired HyperCharge and 50W wireless Turbo Charge, claimed to charge the phone from zero to 50% in less than 10 minutes.

The Xiaomi 14 for India will feature a Leica Summilux optical lens, a Light Fusion 900 image sensor with ultra-HDR support, and a 75mm floating telephoto lens. The Chinese version includes a triple rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto shooter. The front camera is 32 megapixels, and the phone is equipped with a 4,610mAh battery.
