Xiaomi on Thursday, officially confirmed the launch date of its new smartphones — Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro — in China. The upcoming flagship smartphone series is said to be launched along with the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, Xiaomi Pad 7 series, and Band 9 Pro.
Moreover, the company has shared the images unveiling the design of the smartphones.
Xiaomi 15 series launch date for the China
Taking to Weibo, Xiaomi announced that the Xiaomi 15 series will be launched on October 29. The launch event is said to start in China at 7:00pm (4:30pm IST). In addition, the event will also mark the launch of HyperOS 2.0 skin based on Android 15.
According to the company, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro will boast a sleek design with a micro-curved screen and enhanced Leica-tuned triple-camera setup. The rear camera layout will resemble the module design of the Xiaomi 14 series.

Moreover, the colourways are similar to the Xiaomi 14 series, suggesting a continuation of the existing design language. It will sport a quad-curved screen, covered with Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0. The vanilla Xiaomi 15 is confirmed to house a 6.36-inch display.
Previously, Xiaomi Senior Vice President Adam Zeng confirmed that the Xiaomi 15 series will be the first smartphone to feature Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC in global markets. It will come with Xiaomi's HyperCore technology. Meanwhile, the lineup is expected to launch in markets outside China in the coming months.
