Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset update is claimed to reduce Xiaomi 15's power consumption by 29.7% to enhance user experience

Xiaomi Senior Vice President Adam Zeng unveiled that its next flagship Xiaomi 15 is set to be the first handset to sport the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

The Xiaomi 15 will support HyperCore technology with a plenty of striking features. Zeng said that this new technology covers performance, graphics, networking, and security areas. This combination is claimed to reduce Xiaomi 15's power consumption by 29.7%.

Moreover, Zeng confirmed that the launch of the Xiaomi 15 series will take place at the end of October. Despite the Xiaomi 15 series, the OnePlus 13, which is scheduled to debut on October 31 and the Asus ROG Phone 9 which is set to launch in November, are also confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

Whereas, the Xiaomi 15 is set to be the first across the line to sport the new Qualcomm chipset.
