Xiaomi seems to be working on a new budget smartphone, Redmi A3 Pro. The handset has been spotted in a listing on a Kenya-based online store, revealing its design, key specifications, and expected price ahead of the official announcement.

Earlier, the device also appeared in the HyperOS codebase. If announced, it will be the first “Pro” device of the Redmi A-series.

Redmi A3 Pro specs (expected)

Building upon the base model, Redmi A3, the Redmi A3 Pro is likely to feature a stunning 6.88-inch display and a 90Hz refresh rate. 

The device might come equipped with the powerful MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra, marking an upgrade from the Helio G36 in the Redmi A3. Redmi A3 Pro is expected to be paired with up to 8GB of RAM. 

The Redmi A3 Pro camera might also get a notable upgrade. It might sport a 50MP AI main sensor, as per the listing. However, details regarding the front camera are yet to be revealed. 

Redmi A3 Pro is expected to be paired with up to 8GB of RAM, a 5,160mAh, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. 

Redmi A3 Pro pricing

Surprisingly, the Redmi A3 Pro might come with a lower price tag. The listing shows it at KSh 13,999 which is around $110. However, one should note that these are all speculations as the company has yet to make an official announcement about this smartphone.
