YouTube expands Shopify partnership to take on TikTok Shop

YouTube will be expanding its partnership with Shopify as part of its YouTube Shopping affiliate program, which will onboard more brands to better compete with the rising TikTok Shop. The new agreement would grant creators access to thousands of new brands tagged in their shopping videos, making it easier to make money off of their content.

What is YouTube Shopping?

YouTube Shopping is a program where creators earn money by tagging products in videos, helping their audience find new products, and increasing sales for brands.

However , with the extended partnership, it is both creators and brands that are likely to benefit from this change. Creators would come across more brands and could quite easily, earn from their content. Brands would increase reach and sales.
