YouTube Music introduced the Quick Picks feature to the app in 2020. The app is now testing a new feature to enhance the user experience for music lovers within its Quick Picks section.
The new multi-song radio creator will allow users to get more control over their listening experience on the app.
Previously, the Quick Picks carousel used to suggest single songs for radio creation. However, with the upgrade, it will now allow users to select multiple tracks from a list of 20 recently played songs on the app.

Now, the users can create a custom radio station based on their selected songs by tapping the plus icon appearing next to each desired track.
The feature would improve the overall appeal of YouTube Music and offers a greater degree of personalisation enabling users to create their own music mixes based on their favourite genres and artists.
Here’s how the Quick Pick carousel works
- Tap the “plus” icon which appears in the right corner.
- Select the checkmark confirming your choice.
- Now, click “Start radio” with the number of selected tunes appearing in the top-right corner along with an “x” button.
Currently, the multi-song radio creator is in the testing phase and it is expected to be rolled out to a wider audience shortly.
