In a landmark development in the realm of telecommunication space in Pakistan, Zong expanded its high-speed 4G services in Gilgit Baltistan (GB).
Despite being so remote and disconnected from the central network hub of urban areas, the northern region of the country is set to witness the widest expansion of telecom service, with over 15 cities chosen for the seamless telecom service.
Out of all, the Zong 4G service is currently live in Gilgit, Hunza, and Skardu, and it's being awaited in the remaining cities.
The provision of the fourth-generation wireless broadband service in GB hints at the continuous strides Zong has been making to enhance user experience and enable them to exploit cutting-edge technologies in the landscape of mobile communications.
Once implemented in a full-fledged manner, the development would ensure revamped digitalization, livelihood, and accelerated growth of data connectivity nationwide.
As part of the expansion, Zong is launching 59 4G sites in over 15 GB cities to deliver seamless connectivity. Not only will the native residents of Gilgit Baltistan benefit from the 4G network, but international tourists and visitors will also be able to make the most of it.
