Zoom, the video conferencing platform, has introduced a new application designed for the Apple Vision Pro mixed reality headset. This app enhances virtual meetings by including elements from participants' physical surroundings, creating a more immersive experience.
The Apple Vision Pro is set to be available for purchase in the US starting February 2, with the Zoom app being downloadable from the App Store on the same day.
According to Gadgets360, Zoom announced on Monday that the new app for the AR/VR headset will leverage Apple's Personas feature, allowing participants to generate digital avatars for meetings. These avatars, automatically created by the Apple Vision Pro using machine learning, replicate real-time movements and expressions.
