Google Pixel 6 Pro Summary
Google Pixel 6 Pro comes in a glass front and back (Corning Gorilla Glass Victus) and an aluminium frame. The device is protected by IP68 dust and water resistant technology. The display on the device is AMOLED, which supports HDR10+ and 120Hz visuals and can output 1440 x 3120 pixels. The always-on display is 6.7 inches in size.
Android 12 runs on the system, which can be upgraded to Android 14. Under the hood, Google’s Tensor chip runs the device, which is an octa-core processor with a max clock frequency of 2.8GHz. This chipset comes with Mali-G78 GPU. The device offers 12GB, 128GB, 12GB, 256GB, and 12GB, 512GB RAM and internal storage, respectively; there is no support for storage expansion.
There are three cameras mounted at the back, a 50MP lens, having dual-pixel PDAF, Laser AF, and OIS, a 48MP telephoto lens (4x optical zoom), and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The back camera can record videos at 4K, 30/60fps and 1080p, 30-240fps with gyro-EIS and OIS features support. Dual-LED flash, pixel shift, and auto-HDR round off the back camera features. The front camera has a single 11.MP ultrawide lens with auto-HDR and 4K, 30fps and 1080p, 30/60fps video recording.
The Pixel 6 Pro has a 5,003mAh powered battery that can be charged either by a 23W USB Type-C charger or by a 23W wireless charging device. Additional features include: fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, reverse wireless charging, and ultra wideband support.
The phone weighs 210g and comes in Cloudy White, Sorta Sunny, and Stormy Black colours.
