Google Pixel 6 Summary

Google Pixel 6 comes in a glass front (Corning Gorilla Glass Victus), glass back (Gorilla Glass 6), and an aluminium frame. The device is protected by IP68 dust and water resistant technology. The display on the device is AMOLED, which supports HDR10+ and 90Hz visuals and can output 1080 x 2400 pixels. The always-on display is 6.4 inches in size.

Android 12 runs on the system, which can be upgraded to Android 14. Under the hood, Google’s Tensor chip runs the device, which is an octa-core processor with a max clock frequency of 2.8GHz. This chipset comes with Mali-G78 GPU. The device offers 8GB, 128GB and 8GB, 256GB RAM and internal storage, respectively; there is no support for storage expansion.

There are two cameras at the back, a 50MP lens, having dual-pixel PDAF, Laser AF, and OIS, and the other is a 12MP ultrawide lens. The back camera can record videos at 4K, 30/60fps and 1080p, 30-240fps with gyro-EIS and OIS features support. Dual-LED flash, pixel shift, and auto-HDR round off the back camera features. The front camera has a single 8MP lens with auto-HDR and 1080p, 30fps video recording.

The Pixel 6 has a 4,614mAh powered battery that can be charged either by a 30W USB Type-C charger or by a 21W wireless charging device. Additional features include: fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, and reverse wireless charging.

The phone weighs 207g and comes in Sorta Seafoam, Kinda Coral, and Stormy Black colours.
