Google Pixel 7a Summary
Google Pixel 7a has the lightest specs among the Pixel 7 series, though it has slight edge in the camera department. The phone comes in a glass front (Gorilla Glass 3), plastic back, and aluminium overall frame. It is rated IP67 and weighs 193g. The device has an OLED display that is capable of HDR and 90Hz refresh rate. The screen can produce 1080 x 2400 pixels over a 6.1 inches, always-on display.
The Android version running on the system is 13, which is upgradeable to Android 14. The chipset running under the hood is Google’s own Tensor G2, which is an octa-core processor capable of a max frequency of 2.84GHz. This CPU is paired with Mali-G710 GPU. There is only one RAM and storage combo which is 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, with no support for storage expansion.
The phone has 2 lens mounted at the back. The main camera is a 64MP lens, with dual-pixel PDAF and OIS enabled. The other lens has a 13MP count, which is an ultrawide lens. Dual-LED flash, pixel shift, and auto HDR serve as complementary features to the back cameras. Videos can be shot at 4K, 30/60fps and 1080p, 30-240fps, with OIS support. The selfie camera has a single 13MP lens with auto HDR and 4K, 30fps and 1080p, 30fps video recording features.
The Pixel 7a is powered by a 4385mAh Li-Po battery, which can be charged by an 18W fast charger or by a 7.5W wireless charging device. The phone includes additional features, such as fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and barometer.
The Pixel 7a comes in Charcoal, Snow, Sea, and Coral colours.
