OnePlus 7 Summary
The 7th iteration of the OnePlus flasgship series, OnePlus 7 is regarded as a flagship killer; it was released on June 04, 2019. The phone is build with glass front and back (Gorilla Glass 6 and 5, respectively) and aluminium frame. The display panel technology is optic AMOLED, which can output 1080 x 2340 pixels of resolution on a 6.41 inches screen, with HDR10 support as well.
The OS running onboard is Android 9, which is upgradeable to Android 12. Under the hood, Snapdragon 855 runs the device with it octa-core processor that claims a max clock frequency of 2.84GHz; this CPU is paired with Adreno 640 GPU. Supporting this chip are three RAM and storage combos: 6GB, 128GB, 8GB, 256GB, and 12GB, 256GB, respectively. Unfortunately, there is no support for storage expansion.
The dual camera setup at the back hosts 48MP lens (OIS and PDAF enabled) and a 5MP lens for depth sensing. Dual-LED flash and HDR capabilities complement the back cameras. Videos from this camera can be shot at 4K, 30/60fps, 1080p, 30-240fps, and 720p, 480fps with auto-HDR and gyro-EIS enabled. On the front, a single 16MP lens is mounted, which is supported by auto-HDR and 1080p, 30fps (gyro-EIS) video recording.
The OnePlus 7 sports a 3,700mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging via USB Type-C cable. Additional features include: fingerprint scanner (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
The OnePlus 7 weighs around 182g and comes in Mirror Gray, Red, and Mirror Blue colours.
