Microsoft, the tech giant, introduced multiple changes to their operating system in recent months that have caused VPN connection failures in Windows 10 and 11.

Moreover, users have wondered why their VPN isn't connecting. The number of persons affected is unknown, and the extent of the problem is unknown.

However, the Bill Gates-founded company is aware of this fact but is not providing much assistance. In an announcement on the Microsoft website, the tech giant has identified the breaking of VPNs as a problem for KB5036893.

For example, the Redmond-based corporation defined the issue as follows: "Windows devices may experience VPN connection failures after installing the update dated April 9, 2024, or later".

However, there is no remedy other than the company's suggestion to users for a "workaround": If users are having problems with their home computer, then they should utilise the Get help option in Windows.

In addition, if users are at work, they should seek the appropriate individuals for assistance. To avoid issues, remove the troublesome updates and avoid them for a while.
